Machinist

Elwood Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machinist to join the team of a local manufacturing team.

Machinist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $27.00 to $32.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

• Operate basic production machinery, including CNC machines, Lathes, mills
• Perform deburring tasks on manufactured parts to ensure smooth finishes and quality standards
• Execute light assembly work as required, adhering to specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the manufacturing facility
• Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and operational guidelines
• Report directly to the manufacturing supervisor, following all directives and instructions
• Exercise limited decision-making authority and maintain limited contact with external suppliers or customers.

Machinist Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist
• Demonstrated proficiency as a CNC Operator
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under close supervision
• Experience with CNC Programming
• Familiarity with CNC Set-up procedures
• Prior experience operating Boring Machines
• Experience operating Debur Machines
