Job Description

We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to design and deliver modern, intuitive user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience for enterprise applications. This role will work closely with business users, IT supervisors, project managers, and development teams within an Agile environment to translate business requirements into effective UI/UX solutions. The consultant will follow a user-centered design approach to solve complex design challenges, influence product strategy, and improve product usability.

This position will also be responsible for researching, designing, and developing user interfaces using prototyping and design tools while ensuring compliance with established coding standards and architectural frameworks. This position requires strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills to guide design initiatives and ensure seamless integration between front-end and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design modern, intuitive UI/UX solutions by collaborating directly with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective interface designs.
• Work closely with business users, IT supervisors, project managers, and development teams in an Agile development environment while maintaining a user-centered design approach.
• Proactively identify areas of the product that require improvement and contribute to enhancements through the product roadmap.
• Research, design, and develop user interfaces using prototyping and designer tools while ensuring compliance with established coding standards and architectural frameworks.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, business users, and engineering teams to understand and document UI requirements.
• Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user-friendly interfaces that support complex business processes.
• Contribute to all phases of the product development lifecycle including discovery, research, design, and user interface development.
• Test and iterate product concepts with users through research and analysis to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to brainstorm ideas, approaches, and design solutions.
• Create and maintain a reusable Design System library to support consistency across applications.
• Establish a seamless UI handoff process to development teams.
• Ensure user interface and user experience designs follow best practices and comply with security requirements.
• Work closely with backend developers to support the integration of front-end components.
• Participate in backlog grooming sessions and other Agile ceremonies to ensure development teams fully understand proposed UI designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to technical staff.

Qualifications

• Verifiable experience in taking user interface requirements and using them to design graphical interfaces in applications.
• Experience developing a project within the AGILE methodology.
• Experience with Front end UI - Html with Bootstrap and Fluent UI framework, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Advanced understanding of site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigations.
• Experience with Designer tools Figma. An ability to quickly learn new tools as they emerge
• Experience designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team
• Experience with ASP.NET C–Sharp (C#) language
• A demonstrable understanding of implementing secure UI design and coding practices for an ASP.NET MVC application
• UI/UX Certification will be highly advantageous
• Highly desired | Verifiable experience with applications designed and developed in ASP.NET Core MVC applications
• Highly desired | Expert level experience of building out conversational workflow diagrams (similar to flow diagrams) and articulating/documenting detailed User Journey Maps.
