About the Role : Operates a tractor/trailer truck and various pieces of light and heavy equipment to transport merchandise to and from the truck, store, and loading dock.

Responsibilities :

• Performs pre-trip inspection of truck prior to all trips, according to Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
• Loads and unloads merchandise from truck, stores, and loading dock.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties such as delivery of mail.
• Conforms to all Federal and State DOT regulations and rules.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years’ experience as a truck driver and in operating a tractor/trailer truck or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Required Skills :

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Experience in operating a tractor/trailer truck

Preferred Skills :

• Two years’ experience as a truck driver
