Job Description
Location: Miami, FL 33166 (Medley area) Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday + Weekends) Pay: $24/h We need a dependable Dispatcher to help run our truck routes and manage our drivers. Your main goal is to make sure every container and shipment gets where it needs to go on time.
What you will do:
- Plan Routes: Give drivers their daily schedules and tell them where to pick up and drop off loads.
- Talk to Drivers: Stay in touch with our drivers and outside trucking companies throughout the day.
- Solve Problems: If there is a delay or a broken truck, you find a solution and tell the team right away.
- Speak in both English and Spanish to talk to drivers, customers, and office staff.
- Computer Work: Enter information into our system to keep our records up to date.
- Teamwork: Work with other departments to make sure the office runs smoothly.
What we need from you:
- Experience: You have worked as a dispatcher for at least 1 year.
- You must speak and write well in both English and Spanish.
- Skills: You are good at using computers and fast at typing.
- Availability: You are okay with working the first shift and helping out on weekends.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
