We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team in Miami, FL. This role is key to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of our financial and tax processes in the United States.
What You’ll Do
• Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with U.S. federal and state tax obligations.
• Calculate current and deferred income taxes and analyze temporary and permanent differences under U.S. GAAP.
• Lead tax reconciliations, documentation, and support for IRS filings.
• Support and coordinate tax audits, examinations, and inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on accounting and tax technical matters.
• Evaluate the impact of regulatory and tax law changes on financial reporting.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in U.S. taxation.
• Proven experience handling tax compliance, audits, and examinations.
• Experience in public accounting or tax/accounting consulting (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax rules (income tax, sales tax, withholdings).
• Experience with ERPs (Odoo preferred), Excel, Avalara AvaTax, and process automation (a plus).
• Advanced English and Spanish.
