Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance with accounting standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial data, improving accounting processes, and supporting leadership with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
• Analyze financial data and variances; provide clear explanations to management
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Support internal and external audits; prepare audit schedules and documentation
• Review balance sheet and income statement accounts for accuracy
• Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff, as applicable
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and leadership teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CPA-track strongly preferred
• Public accounting and/or industry experience
• Experience with SOX compliance or internal controls
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience
