Repair Technician | Shop Technician
Location: Sarasota, FL/ Deerfield, FL
Pay: $26–$33/hr
Additional Pay: Monthly Incentives + Company Bonus
Orion Talent is seeking a Repair Technician to support a busy equipment service shop in Sarasota. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing commercial equipment while maintaining high quality standards and meeting service turnaround times.

What You'll Do
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, gasoline, and diesel systems
• Perform high-quality repairs and troubleshooting on commercial equipment
• Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Prepare parts and labor estimates and document repair work
• Grind blades, reels, and cutting systems to specification
• Perform welding and equipment assembly as needed
• Prepare demo, rental, and customer equipment for service
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of mechanical repair or technician experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
• Experience working with hydraulics, electrical systems, and small diesel/gas engines
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals
• Must provide own standard and metric tools (specialty tools provided)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
