Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Manual Testing) with 1 2 years of handson experience in testing
web applications and system integrations. The role involves validating endtoend business flows,
APIs, and UI functionality, ensuring quality delivery across integrated systems and environments.
Key Responsibilities
Manual & Functional Testing
Perform manual testing of web applications to validate functional
and nonfunctional requirements.
Execute test cases for UI, backend workflows, and endtoend business scenarios.
Validate user journeys, data flows, and screenlevel behaviour across browsers.
Perform smoke, sanity, regression, and UAT support testing.
Integration & API Testing
Test systemtosystem integrations between multiple applications (web, backend, external
systems).
Validate REST/SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman or similar.
Verify request/response payloads, data mapping, and error handling.
Validate integration scenarios across QA, UAT, and preproduction environments.
Defect Management & Collaboration
Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA or similar.
Work closely with developers, integration teams, and business analysts to understand
requirements.
Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and test case reviews.
Support production release activities and postdeployment validation.

Qualifications & Experience
Must Have
1 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
Experience testing web applications.
Basic understanding of integration testing concepts.
Handson experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman.
Ability to write test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a team and take ownership of assigned test activities.
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
Good to Have
Exposure to testing integrated systems (multiple applications interacting together).
Basic understanding of databases and ability to run simple SQL queries.
Knowledge of different test environments (QA, SIT, UAT, PreProd).
Exposure to integration platforms (MuleSoft, APIs, middleware) is a plus.
