Job location: Flushing, NY
Shift : Onsite; 5X8 9AM-5PM
Pay :$20 -$26/hr without benefits
Contract : 13 wk assignment, possible extension
Requirement :
- Cantonese/Mandarin Fluency (R)
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of registrar/admin experience
Job Summary:
To ensure that the highest quality standard of customer satisfaction is attained; to maximize reimbursement from outpatient visits by screening patient appointments, reconciling co-payments, and securing referral authorizations. To schedule appointments, obtain, scan and electronically file all necessary documentation.
Register patients for a variety of procedures and appointments, and feel the pride of going above and beyond to help others.
In this role, you'll obtain demographic details and insurance information, and ensure proper scheduling. You'll record patient history while obtaining pre-certification and authorization for patients. Most importantly, you will be the calm and reassuring presence patients need as they navigate their hospital experience
