Job Description

A family owned, legacy laundry manufacturing company is seeking a skilled, hard-working Maintenance Mechanic for their Industrial Machinery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on modern industrial laundry machinery, conveyors, overhead systems, and auxiliary equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain electrical control circuits, motors, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Think creatively to develop cost-effective solutions that enhance equipment performance and safety.
• Support a clean, safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and WISHA standards.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to optimize operations.
• Respond quickly and effectively to equipment problems, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing, food processing, laundry, or similar high-volume environment.
• Technical training or an associate’s degree from a trade school or technical college preferred.
• Strong electrical skills: troubleshooting, control circuitry, PLC programming, and schematic reading.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose issues independently and think outside the box for innovative solutions.
• Valid driver’s license; boiler’s license Grade 4 is a plus.
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and technical skill assessments.
• Willingness to work overnight shift (11 PM – 7:30 AM) and every other Saturday during peak season.
• A strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and independently.
