We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal with a strong background in both USCIS-related cases and court cases. Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working on both USCIS cases (such as green card applications, citizenship, and family petitions) and court cases related to immigration law (including removal defense, asylum applications, and deportation defense). The candidate must be fluent in both Spanish and English, as we serve a diverse client base. This position requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and filing of documents for court cases, including removal defense, asylum, deportation defense, and bond hearings.
  • Maintain and update client files and case management systems.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents, including petitions, motions, affidavits, and briefs.
  • Prepare and submit applications for various immigration benefits, ensuring compliance with USCIS rules and regulations.
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, and government agencies (including USCIS, ICE, and immigration courts) to gather necessary documents and provide case updates.
  • Conduct legal research as needed to support case preparation.
  • Prepare clients for interviews with USCIS and in immigration court.
  • Ensure deadlines for filing petitions, applications, and responses are met.
  • Translate documents and provide interpretation services for Spanish-speaking clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Immigration Paralegal, with a focus on both USCIS cases and court cases.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal) is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of immigration laws, policies, and procedures related to USCIS and immigration court matters.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client service skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the immigration industry.
