Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the management, assessment and improvement of fulfillment and distribution processes for specific markets within the Highlights’ consumer business. These duties include working collaboratively with internal teams and 3rd party business partners to ensure accurate and timely processing and maintaining quality assurance measures for existing processes. This position will identify and communicate opportunities for cost-savings, process improvements and new functionality that will move the business forward.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of fulfillment and distribution functions for assigned markets
  • Manage multiple projects with different deadlines simultaneously
  • Provide direction, validate implementation, and monitor success of offers and tests for projects with business partners
  • Independently make decisions, answer questions, and resolve issues using research and analysis of information at hand; suggest alternative solutions that may enhance or more easily resolve open times
  • Identify inconsistencies or issues in fulfillment or distribution functions, provide for improvement and report on progress/resolution. Identify gaps in current metrics and communicate recommendations
  • Ensure continuous improvement through auditing metrics, accurate reporting, adherence to standard operating procedure and industry best practices
  • Identify, communicate, and implement cost-savings or efficiency improvement measures.
  • Participate in cross-functional team initiatives by serving as lead on special projects related to fulfillment and distribution functions, as well as serve as subject matter expert to assist in the launch of new products

Qualifications:

  • 1 -3 years of experience in Fulfillment, Operations, Distribution, Supply Chain, or Customer Service
  • Effective interpersonal skill and demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Advanced Prioritizing and Task Management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Effective problem-solving ability, confident in judgement and decision-making
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially MS Excel
  • General Business acumen and solid understanding of financial decisions
  • Curious Mindset

What you should show up ready to teach anyone on your first day:

  • Demonstrate your Excel skills by helping to streamline data entry efforts.
  • Demonstrate your business acumen including planning and managing schedules, providing clear instructions to vendors and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Within your first month, you’ll:

  • Demonstrable accuracy and willingness to work in a team environment.
  • Demonstrable experience using remote meeting and collaboration tools with vendors and internal customers.

Within your first year, you’ll:

  • Proficient in setting up campaigns.
  • Proficient in managing changes or setting up new master schedules, print programs, electronic notifications and mail packages.
  • Be able to support each business line, Club, Merch & Magazine.
  • Make recommendations to the business to provide improved customer experience, reduced cost and/or efficiencies for fulfillment processes.
