About FarmGPU
FarmGPU is a GPU cloud infrastructure company operating bare-metal NVIDIA H100, H200, and B200 clusters from our facility in Rancho Cordova, CA. We operate under a revenue-sharing model with hardware partners, deliver compute capacity through the RunPod Secure Cloud marketplace and direct enterprise deployments, and run a flagship AI storage validation lab in partnership with a leading storage company. We're SOC 2 compliant, actively fundraising, and scaling fast into a market that is projected to reach hundreds of billions in annual GPUaaS revenue by 2030.
We're looking for a Chief Operating Officer to own the operating layer of the business — and to be the person who ensures FarmGPU executes with the discipline and speed this market requires. You'll report directly to the CEO and take full ownership of datacenter operations, partner relationships, financial operations, people scaling, and the cross-functional coordination that holds a growing infrastructure company together.
The Context
The neocloud market is moving from a land-grab phase into an operational efficiency phase. The companies that win long-term won't just be the ones with the best hardware access — they'll be the ones that run tighter operations, maximize utilization, structure smarter partner economics, and scale without proportionally scaling headcount or costs.
FarmGPU's model is differentiated: we're a revenue-share neocloud operator , not a pure CapEx accumulator. Our partners own hardware; we operate it and generate recurring revenue from utilization. That model has natural leverage — and it requires a COO who understands GPU infrastructure unit economics deeply enough to protect and expand that leverage as we scale.
This COO will inherit a functioning operation with strong technical leadership, a CRO focused on revenue and strategic partnerships, an engaged CFO, and a ~15-person team. The job is to take what works and build the operating infrastructure to support 3× the headcount and revenue without proportionally increasing operational friction.

AI-first by default. We use AI to move faster across every function — operations included. We expect the COO to be fluent in using AI to compress work across procurement, reporting, compliance, and communications, and to build that expectation into how the operations team works.
High agency. The CEO should never have to ask twice about operational status. You see what needs to happen, you drive it, you close the loop, and you proactively surface what leadership needs to know before they need to ask.
Radically transparent on unit economics. We share context broadly because small teams move faster with the full picture. The COO has full visibility into financials, partner economics, and operational health — and is expected to use that visibility to make better decisions and surface the right information at the right time.
Direct communication. We say the thing that needs to be said, early. Status updates that say "on track" when there's a risk are worse than no update. We prefer facts, data, and a clear path forward — especially when the answer is uncomfortable.
Systems thinking. GPU infrastructure is a system. Utilization, power, procurement lead times, partner satisfaction, and headcount all interact. We value people who can see those dependencies before they become problems — and who optimize for goodput, not vanity metrics.
