Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Center-Based ABA Clinic

Location: Dayton, Ohio
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Clinic Hours: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 annually, plus bonus potential

What You'll Do

Clinical Assessment & Treatment Planning

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), skills assessments, and ongoing evaluations in accordance with payer requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized ABA treatment plans.
  • Ensure treatment programming aligns with BACB ethical standards and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor client progress and make data-driven treatment recommendations.

Supervision & Clinical Leadership

  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and performance feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior technicians.
  • Train staff on ABA best practices, treatment implementation, and data collection.
  • Support onboarding, ongoing training, and staff development.
  • Collaborate weekly with fellow BCBAs to review cases, discuss clinical strategies, and continuously improve ABA programming and clinic operations.

Family Collaboration

  • Lead caregiver training sessions to promote skill generalization across environments.
  • Maintain consistent communication with families regarding treatment progress and goals.
  • Deliver compassionate, culturally responsive care that supports the entire family.

Data Review & Quality Assurance

  • Analyze treatment data to guide clinical decision-making.
  • Conduct fidelity checks to ensure treatment integrity.
  • Partner with clinic leadership to maintain high-quality services and regulatory compliance.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation that meets Medicaid and commercial payer requirements.
  • Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and authorization teams.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives.

What You Can Expect

We believe providing exceptional care starts with supporting our clinicians.

  • Caseload: Approximately 8–10 full-time clients , with caseloads assigned based on client needs and clinical quality.
  • Billable Expectation: 30 billable hours per week.
  • RBT Supervision: Supervise approximately 15 RBTs when the clinic is fully staffed.
  • Administrative Support: Dedicated administrative team that actively supports scheduling, operations, and day-to-day clinic needs.
  • Documentation Time: Clinic hours are 8:30 AM–4:30 PM , allowing approximately 10 hours each week for documentation, treatment planning, and creating client materials.
  • Scheduling Flexibility: BCBAs manage their own schedules with flexibility when personal needs arise.
  • Work-from-Home Flexibility: Remote work may be available when necessary due to personal emergencies.
  • Weekend Rotation: Occasional on-call responsibilities on Saturdays.
  • Clinical Collaboration: Weekly BCBA meetings focused on mentorship, case consultation, clinical collaboration, and operational improvements.
  • Continuing Education: Annual $400 CEU reimbursement to support professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience providing ABA services to children with autism.
  • Previous center-based ABA experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience supervising RBTs and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with ABA software such as CentralReach, Rethink, AccuPoint, or Catalyst.
  • Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
