Administrative Assistant
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Schedule: 1st shift
Pay: $17–$21 per hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with our client, a manufacturing company in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, to identify an administrative assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity on 1st shift. This role offers an hourly pay rate of $17–$21, depending on experience.
This position serves as the front-facing representative for the facility and also provides backup support to shipping, customer service, and accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer incoming phone calls and greet customers, vendors, and suppliers
• Serve as the primary front desk contact for the manufacturing facility
• Enter daily customer orders into internal and customer portals
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping documentation
• Create shipping labels, including FedEx labels, as needed
• Enter tracking information into shipping portals
• Assist with invoicing related to customer orders
• Provide delivery counts and coordinate freight pickups
• Back up customer service, shipping, and accounting staff as needed
• Perform filing and general administrative duties
• Order office and shipping supplies
• Prepare end-of-week checks for mailing
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or clerical role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Comfortable answering phones and interacting with customers and vendors
• Experience with data entry, invoicing, or shipping documentation is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems and portals
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
